What does PixeLift do?
PixeLift does the everyday jobs people want done to a photo, in one place instead of a different app for each: sharpening, restoring, removing backgrounds and objects, adding color and restyling portraits. The web app has 14 tools in three groups:
- Image Utilities: AI Photo Enhancer, Zoom, Colorize, Relight, Move Camera, Product Photo.
- Magic Remove: Background Remover, Remove Object, Remove Text.
- Fun Presets: Cartoonify, Turn into Avatar, Movie Poster, Hair Cut, Body Builder.
Each tool is explained on the tools page. There is also a PixeLift app for iPhone, iPad and Mac with its own set of tools, listed on its App Store page. There is no Android app; on Android, use PixeLift in your browser.
Who is PixeLift for?
Anyone who wants something done to a photo: sharpening a blurry picture, restoring a family print, cutting out a product for a listing, removing a stranger from a holiday shot or turning a portrait into an avatar. You don't need editing skills; you need a photo you own or have the right to edit.
Is PixeLift the right tool for you?
It is a good fit when you want a good result on one photo at a time without learning an editor. Check the other list too, because sometimes a different tool will serve you better.
PixeLift suits you if:
- You have a few photos to fix and no editing experience.
- You want several jobs in one place: sharpening, background and object removal, text removal, color and portrait styles.
- You would rather describe a change in words, such as "remove the person on the left", than paint a selection.
Something else may be better if:
- You need to process hundreds of photos in one go. The web app works on one photo at a time.
- You need precise manual control with layers, brushes and masks. A full editor such as Photoshop or GIMP gives you that; PixeLift works from presets and typed instructions.
- You need a faithful record, for evidence, insurance or an archive. AI fills in missing detail with its best guess, so keep the original, and use a professional restorer for archival work.
- You want to edit offline. The web app sends each photo to the server, so it needs an internet connection.
- You want to create a picture from a text description on the web. Every web tool starts from a photo you upload; the iPhone app has Text to Art.
Not sure which tool fits your photo? The tools page matches everyday jobs to the right tool.
Who makes PixeLift?
PixeLift is built and run by Devsrank Pvt. Ltd., a company that makes apps. The App Store lists the PixeLift app under the seller name DEVSRANK. PixeLift started in 2024 and serves customers worldwide.
What happens to the photos I upload?
When you use a tool, your photo and the tool's instruction are sent to the AI image model PixeLift uses, and the result comes back to you. Your results are saved in My Gallery in your account. Photos aren't shared publicly, and PixeLift doesn't add a watermark to your results.
Under the Acceptable Use Policy, uploads go through automated checks, and requests for sexual or otherwise unsafe content can be refused. What data is collected is in the Privacy Policy.
Can I use my results commercially?
You can use your results for personal or commercial projects, as long as you own the photo you uploaded or have the right to use it.
How do plans and billing work?
On the website, each tool run uses one credit, and with a monthly or yearly plan the tools don't use credits; see pricing. Website payments are handled by Creem, which acts as the seller of record and works out the tax at checkout. You can check or cancel a website plan on Manage subscription. Subscriptions bought in the iPhone, iPad or Mac app are billed by Apple and managed in your Apple ID subscriptions.
